Name of the patient – Pranab kumar Maity.
Age – 75 years .

Chief complaints – Obstinate Constipation, Hypertrophy of Prostate. Renal Stone, Anorexia, Emaciated, Hypertension etc.
Advice – USG of whole abdomen.
Report – 6.2 2020 – Along with asymptomatic prostatic hypertrophy, small renal stone, there was a nodular enhancing leison in periampullary region of the pancreas. Carcinoma pancreas!

My clinical examination – Mild Pallor. Oedema Feet. No Tederness. Yellowish Body.
Adv – LFT

Reports on 7.2 . 2020.

All the parameters are exceptionally high.
BILIRUBIN – 11.1 mg / dl.
SGPT – 144 mg/dl ( Normal less than 45
SGOT– 129 ( normal – less than 35)
ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE – 421 ( Normal – 45 to 129)
GGT – ( less than 55 ).

6.2.2020- 1- Bryonia – 30 / 6 doses. ( twice daily for 3 days )

2 – chelidonium – Q ( 5 drops twice daily)
No Improvement- on the other hand, the total body becomes deep yellow.

Advice –

13.2. 2020 – BILIRUBIN- 21.1mg / dl.
Serum Amylase – 62 u/ l
Serum lipase – 38 u/ l
Ca 19.9 ( cancer markar)- 61.57 u/ l ( normal – less than 35u/’ so the condition was very bad.

Already he has taken the advice of various oncologists of Medica, CMRI, and Tata Medical Center. They have advised for Whipple Operation but have not given any assurance on the above case. They also said that there will be a chance of metastasis and longevity will be no more than 2 Yrs provided the operation is successful.

15-Feb-2020:

CT Scan of Upper Abdomen Report – A solitary enhancing nodule in periampullary region with the possibility of neoplastic growth.

16-Feb-2020:

Considering the above reports I prescribed the following:

i) Lycopodium 200/3 doses (the selection was done by proper reportarization mainly based on mental symptoms).
ii) Carduus M – Q : 5 Drops BD

The patient began to feel better within 2 days.
In the meantime ERCP was done, Diagnosis was Cholangio CA.

20-Feb-2020:

Considering the report of ERCP, the cholesterinum 3X was added along with Chelidonium
M – Q.

The Oncologists of Tata Medical Center, CMRI advised Whipple Operation asap. So, finally, it was decided to go ahead with the operation at CMRI and hence the patient admitted. But due to the sudden lockdown for Covid-19, the scheduled operation postponed and the patient returned home. Before the operation the Albumin level was low. We know, if the Albumin level is low the operation may be risky. So, before going for operation the patient was given a protein diet. No medicine was given by the oncologist apart from the medicine for hypertension and other chronic ailments. So, the patient was only on Homeopathic Treatment for the pancreatic complications.

18-Mar-2020:

LFT was repeated and the Bilirubin came down from 21 mg/dl to 4.5 mg/dl.
SGPT reduced to 40 mg/dl from 144 mg/dl and
SGOT came down to 39 mg/dl from 144 mg/dl.

19-Mar-2020:

Immediately Carcinocin 0/2 was prescribed.The medicine was selected based on the symptoms from very early childhood days till date. Hence, the patient was prescribed Carcinocin 0/2, Cholesterinum 3X and Chelidonium M – Q as given earlier.

Presently, the patient has no complaints with no sign of Jaundice, Oedema and Anorexia. In the meantime, Glomerular filtration rate has been done to exclude any renal pathology.

11-May-2020:

Again, I advised the patient to go for CA-19.9, Bilirubin, CEA.
CA-19.9 came down to 11.85 u/ml from 61.1 u/ml within 40 days.
CEA report is normal.
Bilirubin 1.6 mg/dl.
Amylase 64, Lipase 47 mg/dl were normal.

We know a decrease of CA 19.9 is certainly a very strong positive response to therapy.

Already on 29-Apr-2020, a Triphasic CT Scan of Upper Abdomen was done. The Report confirmed absolutely no trace of the nodule and no signal of metastasis. All the parameters are normal.

Clinical condition

Now the patient is completely free of Discomfort, Fatigue, Weight Loss, Swelling, Ascites, Oedema Feet, Jaundice etc.

The patient was under my treatment for some illness by way of Constitutional and Personalized mode of selection for a few days before the present diagnosed life-threatening disease. Hence, we may conclude that the overall immunity of the patient was in good condition which is the most important aspect of Homeopathic Treatment. Those who are not accustomed to proper Homeopathic treatment previously they may also fight with deadly diseases if they come to a Homeopath even in late stages. Generally, we get the opportunity to treat in a very advanced stage, even just before passing away.

We, homeopaths, do not want to say that we are also capable to treat cancer like modern medicine. There is no comparison with the latest management of modern medicine in this regard. But it is confirmed that if we get a chance to treat cancer patients along with modern medicine conjointly then obviously the result will be astonishing. Still, now only we can increase the immunity of the whole body which is very vital to fight against the deadly diseases. We know most of the cancer patients depend on Radiotherapy and chemotherapy. But all these processes are Immunosuppressive. But there is no option.

What I am saying

I have treated successfully like other Homeopath many Gallbladder, Liver, Brain, Blood (leukemia etc) Prostate, Bone Cancer (sarcoma) Pancreas, Oral, Throat (laryngeal) Cervical, Uterine, Skin Cancer.

But it is very difficult to keep all the documents. Most of the patient do not care to do costly investigations. It is very much impossible to carry on now and then, if the patient is free of pain and tremendous suffering for long long days. No one can face the practical scenario if they are better.

Now we the Homeopaths are getting the opportunity to treat the patients only with Homeopathic Medicine.

In this respect I want to convey a message that we have to know the basic knowledge of all sorts of sophisticated investigations and management. During the Homeopathic treatment also Blood Transfusion, Rectification of Sodium and Potassium level, Oxygenation , Defibrillator (restore normal heart beat) Ventilator (mechanical breathing), CPAP system infusion pump (continuous positive pressure thearay), Gastrointestinal and Nasogastric Feeding tubes etc may be necessary. But these are all under the domain of modern medicine. But most of the time we do not need it.

In spite of that it is our duty to refer the patient towards the life saving measures in proper time. But it is a great pity that in this situation the physician of modern medicine Will harsh the patient for doing Homeopathy. They will never want to know that the patient was enjoying a healthy life for many month to year under Homeopathic Treatment.

However it is evident that even today Homeopathy has a tremendous role to increase overall immunity again all sorts of diseases. Every physician want to treat those patient who’s immunity is good.

So it is obvious that our success rate is quite high in Ankylosing Spondylitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Bronchial Asthma, Prostatic Complications, Leucoderma, Pancreatitis, Psoriasis, Leucoderma, Some selected mental and neurological cases. even severe decompression sickness, Down’s syndrome, Irritable Bowel Syndrome etc.

There are many chronic disease where you have to take Modern Medicine daily ie Hypertension, Diabetes, High lipids, Epilepsy, High Thyroid , Many Mental and Neurological disease etc.

One thing I should confess my performance was not up to the mark twelve years before. I was following tha advice of our teachers. They did not give any extra importance on some philosophical idea of Our Master Hahnemann and Kent. This was not their fault. It is an applied science , so it has to be promoted regularly. For the last 25 years it is advancing rapidly due to some research oriented talented physicians in India and abroad. Considering all the factors of Conventional Homeopathy they added some extra pearls from the deep ocean of Homeopathy, based on ” Man is nothing but will and understanding ” and ” “you must go back” .

But I am sorry to say most of us very reluctant to know the secret of the above sayings of our Fathers. The most revolutionary aspect which I have learned very little from my teacher Shymal kumar Das and Dr Biswajit Roy. Before that I have to study comprehensive Materia Medica of Dr Chitkara, Perfect Materia Medica of Dr Sehgal, The books and articles of Asoke Mahanty, Dr Rajan Sankaran , Sehgal Brothers and many others . But the most important information for me is the advice of Dr Shymal kumar Das.He adviced to take the symptoms as early as possible may be when we were in the womb.

The philosophy of Homeopathy is – ” If we apply our potentized medicine to a Complete healthy person some physical and mental symptom will come out. After that if a patient comes to us with the above proven symptoms of the healthy person then we have to apply the medicine based on the proven symptoms . This is called Similia Similibus Curantur.”

Now I began my research – We know man is more healthy as early as possible. Gradually he has to face the trials and tribulations of life. He has to carry the genetic influence , the different environmental factors , poverty, social barriers and Samaskar etc.

Then I go through GARB UPONISHAD . It opined ” when the brain of the fetus forms while in the womb the fetus is not distracted by the senses , and its connection with the attractions and distractions of the outside world remains. ” So a full form baby has a most healthy state.” But it is very difficult to collect the symptoms from this stage , but we can consider the movement of the baby at the time of history taking. But it is very easy for us to collect the symptoms mainly mental symptoms from the very early childhood. We can treat also the geriatric patient successfully by going back. This is a great art and require perseverance, hard labor , study etc.

I am applying this theory with the help of computer, Materia Medica, Organon and considering all knowledge of conventional method. After some days everybody will know that, this is a very easy process.

One more things we have to consider. We have to be a good clinician irrespective of Allopathy and Homeopathy . For an example suppose a patient comes to us with some haziness of of eye without any vision problem for few days, Generally we prescribe our selected medicine. It may work or not. But we have to know the proper diagnosis and prognosis. It may be vitreous hemorrhage. We must advice the patient to consult a ophthalmologist to exclude the possibility of Laser therapy. This type of mentality will make our science more popular.
